Creative Interventions for Mental Health Professionals

Creative Interventions for Mental Health Professionals

"The mental health community has a responsibility to its clients to educate themselves on creative interventions.

It's time to responsibly train mental health professionals to be more mindful of their use of the arts and creativity."

- Azizi Marshall, Founder & CEO

Creativity for Clinicians is a 15-hour CEU course (offered ONLINE or LIVE) for counselors, social workers and mental health professionals with an interest in learning about or building their knowledge of creative interventions. Learn new innovative interventions to help even your most resistant clients express themselves.

Packed with non-stop action, demonstrations and ideas that will have you furiously taking notes as your clinical toolbox overflows with creative, effective interventions you can use immediately! What’s more, you’ll leave inspired to create even more!

Experience creative, interactive, hands-on training that will re-energize your work. You will gain fresh new creative arts strategies and approaches that you can use immediately to engage even your most difficult and challenging clients.

You will utilize a working case conceptualization to help us understand how we work with clients to identify what expressive interventions could be most beneficial to healing, integrating, or just becoming “unstuck.”

Helping counselors, social workers and psychologists to identify and harness creativity with the clients and communities they serve.

One or two certified instructors from the Center for Creative Arts Therapy lead each course and follow a national curriculum and teaching standards, while emphasizing hope for healing. Classes usually consist of 30 people or less and are offered in a safe, respectful and comfortable learning environment.

*PLEASE NOTE: This training does NOT certify or license you as a mental health professional, psychologist, counselor, social worker or drama, art, music, art or expressive arts therapist.
