HELP FOR MOMS
Whether you’re a mom who works either part- or full-time, or a stay-at-home mom, let’s face it. . .
Being a Mom Can Be Both Joyful and Stressful
As women, we juggle so much -- our homes, our jobs, relationships, the schedules of our children and spouses. It can be so easy to begin to neglect ourselves, become overwhelmed, or find ourselves lost.
The moms that we see in our practice frequently ask, "Am I the only one who thinks being a mom is really hard?" "How can I find time for myself and still take care of my family?" "Why do other moms seem to be so perfect and put together?"
We can help you to:
Appreciate yourself for being the mom you want to be, and acknowledge the struggles of trying to be "perfect"
Learn to care yourself, not just for your children
Develop a stronger sense of self
Find better balance for yourself and your family
DuPage County New Moms Support Group
The DuPage County New Moms Support Group is a professionally led education and peer support program for new moms of babies ages birth to 6 months old. It is an opportunity to come together to discuss the ups and downs of being a brand new, first time mother in a supportive and nurturing environment.
The group provides a safe and non judgmental space for women to learn through the group discussions, share experiences, exchange information and gain support during an adjustment stage that can be a complex combinations of excitement and anxiety.
