PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The Center for Creative Arts Therapy is dedicated to leading and developing creative training opportunities and continuing education for the mental health community, enhancing arts-based psychotherapy skills within one’s practice. We also offer clinical consultation, as well as internships, postgraduate training and supervision. Training opportunities are designed for students and professionals in health and wellness professions to learn, network and collaborate.

At the Center for Creative Arts Therapy we want our work to enhance the work of others, and we support our own work through current research  and information in the professional journals of our fields. We were founded with the vision and mission to advance the field of arts integrated psychotherapy.

Collaboration is of great importance. . .

The Center for Creative Arts Therapy is comprised of several highly trained professionals that enhance and collaborate our fields! These professionals were purposefully brought together for the importance and authority of collaboration. The practice of each professional at the Center for Creative Arts Therapy is enhanced by the experience of sharing of skills and knowledge with one another. This offers you unique opportunities to explore multiple creative arts together into one workshop or training.

Our Founder & CEO, Azizi Marshall, has lectured throughout the world at various conferences, events, educational facilities, and mental health agencies. At the Center for Creative Arts Therapy, we value the sharing of knowledge with others. It is our mission as professionals to share our experiences, research, stories and practical skills with the world, and we are doing just that for you.​​

We are located in Downers Grove and frequently see clients from Downers Grove, Aurora, Bolingbrook, Burr Ridge, Countryside, Darien, Elmhurst,

Glen Ellyn, Hickory Hills, Hillside, Hinsdale, LaGrange, LaGrange Park, Lemont, Lisle, Lombard, Naperville, Oak Brook, Oak Brook Terrace, Oak Park, Riverside, Villa Park, Warenville, Westchester, Westmont, Wheaton, Willowbrook, Woodridge, and Western Springs.
